Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing integrity assessments, fitness-for-service evaluations according to API 579, and other related services for our clients in the oil and gas sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the success of our clients' operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct integrity assessments of pressure equipment, pipelines, and other critical assets in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Perform fitness-for-service (FFS) evaluations using API 579 and other relevant codes and standards to assess the structural integrity of components.
Analyze inspection data, corrosion rates, and material properties to identify potential defects, degradation mechanisms, and integrity threats.
Develop risk-based inspection (RBI) strategies and integrity management plans to optimize asset performance and reliability.
Provide technical expertise and client recommendations on integrity assessment, maintenance strategies, and risk mitigation measures.
Prepare detailed reports, findings, and recommendations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, inspectors, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in asset integrity management, corrosion engineering, or related field in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards and applicable certification in API 510, API 570, API 571, API 579, API 580, API 653, NDT or equivalent.
Proficiency in conducting integrity assessments, FFS evaluations, and risk-based inspection (RBI) analyses.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound engineering judgments.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in communicating and writing professional reports in French and English
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
